What should you know about studded tires? All important questions and answers:
As soon as the first snow falls and there is night frost, the question of studded tires arises again for many. We already give the most important answers here.
Can you drive with spikes on normal roads?No problem. However, if there is seldom snow and the road is mostly free, the running noises will soon bother you.
And you don't slip away?No. The spikes “claw” themselves very well into normal asphalt roads.  Even fast corners are not a problem.
Aren't spikes prohibited?With bicycle tires, spikes are not a problem. In some countries, spikes are only forbidden for motor vehicles because they damage the road. Fast e-bikes are, however, considered to be motor vehicles.
Do you have to break in the tires?The tires should be run in for approx. 40 km on asphalt to ensure that the spikes are permanently held. Avoid strong acceleration and braking.
