My Happy Place 30 x 40 cm

Cheshire-born artist Jo Gough has always had a passion for painting. Whilst growing up there was rarely a time when she wasn't drawing or painting but Jo followed her head when choosing a career and left her paintbrushes behind. After a professional IT career of 30 years she finally decided to follow her dreams and devote herself to full-time painting developing her style with no formal instruction or training. Jo is happiest in her studio at home near Chester accompanied by her beloved dog Ted. She primarily works with acrylic paint on canvas to create highly textured and utterly unique pieces.
