Marimex Sand Filtration ProStar 3 - discussion

Sand filtration is inspired by nature. Rainwater turns into crystal clear spring water due to filtration in permeable rock layers. In sand filtration, the water passes through silica sand, where even fine impurities are captured and only clean, filtered water returns to the pool. It is therefore important to rinse the filter sand frequently so that impurities do not settle in the sand. The filtration rinse should be performed at least once a week.
Filtration system consists of a filter vessel that can hold 10-12 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It is seamless, resistant to corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. The filtration flow is 3.8 m3 / hour. Filtration can be connected to solar heaters, solinator and UV lamp.
The filtration is equipped with a drain valve, pressure gauge, built-in components of the filter vessel, including an easy-to-operate 6-way valve (which is built into the lid of the filter vessel), a 200W pump motor and a plastic base.
