Compared to the original version iRig2 offers innovations in the form of 1/4" output to the amplifier, switch between dirty and clean signal, compatibility with Android and mounting system for the microphone stand. The device offers a wide range of uses, in combination with the effects processor AmpliTube. It can be used as physical part of your equipment when playing, jamming in the studio or playing live. iRig2 also offers the possibility to connect headphones, tuner for iPod/iPod/iPad and Mac computers, 3.5 mm headphone output, 6.3 mm instrument input and a 3.5 mm line output.
