The DuPont® Cordura 500D outer shell is extremely durable and abrasion resistant and is packed with features. You will find CE-approved level 1 SAS-TEC shoulder and elbow protectors. These are very comfortable and follow the contours of your body. The Carese II is prepared to be equipped with an optional back protector.
As a full-on touring jacket should be, the Carese II is waterproof thanks to a Gore-Tex membrane. In this case, the Gore-Tex membrane is detachable and can be used inside or over the jacket. Just think of all those times you were riding in summer without the waterproof membrane attached and suddenly it started pouring. Now you just have to slip yourself and the outer jacket into the membrane and use it as a rain jacket. So much easier!
