After a global plague killed off 95% of the population, the few remaining survivors must put their hard-earned skills to use and build a new life in a post-calamity age. Going Medieval gives players the chance to help these survivors create a home within an untamed land, defend against bandits and other external threats, and ensure that their colonists are well-fed and taken care of.
Building A Fortress
Players use 3D terrain tools to design, build and expand their fortress from scratch. Starting with a small wooden hut, they can create winding underground caverns or sprawling multi-story forts. Additionally, they can research weapons and craft items to give their colonists the upper hand in any battles they may face.
A Personal Story To Shape
The world of Going Medieval is filled with unique characters that have personal histories and relationships with each other. Players must learn about them by observing their behaviour and helping out strangers in dangerous situations. They can also invite like-minded travellers into their settlement in order to grow the population while maintaining each colonist's emotional state.
