EMG 707 White - discussion

Humbucker pickup that has been leading the pack of 7-string guitar pickups since its debut in 2001, because it eliminated the problem of a muddy low B string that often lacked rich harmonic character and definition. Featuring Alnico V loaded with wide aperture coils, EMG was able to beef up the Low B string tone while maintaining a balanced and articulate upper register. This provided the responsive and tight sound seven string players grew to love – this pickup will articulate every note, chord, and harmonic. It can be used equally in the bridge and neck positions and its installation is easy thanks to the solder-less. White colour.
