An 80/20 bronze alloy consists of 80% copper and 20% zinc. These strings sound super bright and articulate, but naturally lose their sparkle relatively fast – the XT coating counteracts this.
Not only will you have peace of mind they’ll last you through gigs, hours of practice and recording sessions, but you’ll also notice the coating doesn’t affect the dynamic tone or feel.
Made using a high carbon NY steel core and fusion twist ball end, XT strings are incredibly break resistant, hold seriously strong tuning stability and protect against corrosion.
