6 string set from XL Nickel Wound series that is custom designed for the Fender Bass VI, which is tuned to E, an octave below a guitar in standard tuning. Each string is designed to bass scale lengths and tapers, but with guitar sized ball ends for retrofit on the Fender VI. Round-wound strings deliver distinctive bright, booming tones and provide a more consistent feel for evenly balanced bending, fretting, plucking and slapping. Each string is precision wound with a nickel-plated steel wrap wire by digitally-controlled machine onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core that ensure excellent intonation and unparalleled consistency. Package of the set is environmentally friendly and corrosion resistant so it keeps strings always fresh. D'Addario strings are made in the U.S.A. Gauges: .024, .034, .044, .056, .072, .084.
