In this side instalment of Arc System Works’ classic 2D fighting game series, the biggest characters from BlazBlue find themselves transported to a strange new setting known as the Phantom Field with more strange fighters than ever before. With new territory also comes new rules for fighting, eschewing the franchise’s penchant for one-on-one combat in favour of two-versus-two tag team battles, and featuring a special Cross Gauge that’s built up by smart partner usage and can be used to put forth a powerful Cross Burst or Cross Combo to get both teammates into the ring.

In the base game, four whole separate worlds are included in the fight of a lifetime.
