Travel to Southern France in the 14th century to help Amicia and Hugo de Rune in A Plague Tale: Requiem, an action-adventure stealth game from Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment set six months after the first game.
Stay Hidden
On the run from the French Inquisition as well as rats spreading the black death, Amicia and Hugo would do well to remain hidden. Although Amicia is more than prepared to fight if need be thanks to a crossbow. With that and a slingshot, and a bit of alchemical knowledge, you will be able to light torches from a distance — or extinguish them.
Use the Rats
While the siblings may be trying to keep clear of the plague-ridden rodents, thanks to Hugo’s special powers you will be able to use them to your advantage. Reveal enemy positions, use them to solve puzzles, or just overwhelm (or kill) enemies. They may be afraid of the light, but with hundreds of thousands on-screen at any one time, the light can only save you so often.
Explore Medieval France
Set in a brand new region of France, with vibrant colours and new locales, this sees Amicia and Hugo trying to get passage out of the country. They will have to move through towns, villages, harbours and marketplaces as they seek to set sail to the Mediterranean.
