Story of the fragrance: Guerlain is one of the last perfume houses which still use the ancient traditional manufacturing technique for vanilla tincture. It’s obtained through a mechanical process in the factory in Orphin where vanilla pods are chopped into small pieces and soaked in alcohol until they get a gorgeous ambery colour.
